These houses in St. John's are well known. These colourful houses are located on the windy streets and steep hills of downtown St. John's, Newfoundland \u0026amp; Labrador. The bright colors helped sailors find their way home from the harbour. Although this still could be true, undoubtedly it could also  be a legend.
