Mummers Hand Painted Beer Glass. Mummering, sometimes called "Jannying" is a tradition here in Newfoundland and Labrador whereby people dress up in colorful outfits and visit people at their homes, they dance, play music, they have a drink we call toddy, and afterwards their names are guessed by the homeowners they visited. When they knock on the door they say "Any Mummers "lowed In?" to the homeowner. Most Newfoundlanders accordingly allow mummers inside. In particular, the Mummers outfits are just amazing and they are altogether entertaining. Colors will vary. Shape of glasses may vary.
