The Lone Crooked Stage Painting
The Lone Crooked Stage Painting
Another of the Crooked Stages series of paintings. This is the very first painting using my idea of Crooked Stages, which has since been copyrighted. It is one of the fishing stages of New Perlican sheltered harbour. There are 25 plus fishing stages since I painted this. This one certainly appealed to my sense of belonging to outport NL., so I have included a verse from the song titled Saltwater Joys written by Wayne Chaulk, sung by him and the group Buddy Wasisname and the Other Fellers. Permission to use the verse obtained from Wayne Chaulk who wrote the song.
Open edition series
Giclee reproduction 9 x 12, matted, will fit in a matted 11 x 14 frame
Original gallery canvas hangs in my daughter's house
