This painting comes from my imagination about the picturesque sheltered harbour of New Perlican, NL where I live.  There are 25 plus fishing stages, all painted in bright colors.  I am accordingly enamoured with painting them!  In this painting I did a whale with 3 of the fishing stages on the whale's back. Afterwards, I conducted a Title Contest and the title winner was The Stage Carrier which I accordingly accepted for the title.
